Postnatal Yoga.
Mum & Baby Yoga that is just as much for you as it is for baby.
Hello & Flow Postnatal
These classes offer a wonderful mix of breathing, grounding and yoga for you, yoga and sensory fun for baby as well as bonding and connection for the both of you.
Baby yoga is a wonderful way to bond with baby. It’s a really special thing to do together, as you smile, giggle and touch.
The moves are easy to follow and some are paired with nursery rhymes too - adding an extra little bit of fun!
Expect to learn moves you can repeat at home and make part of your routine if you’d like.
Bond with baby
Meet other mums.
Connecting with other mums at a similar stage on the motherhood journey as you is everything. When you hear the words ‘Me Too!’ it’s so validating and makes you realise you are not alone. Having other mums that just ‘get it’ really does make everything better.
It doesn’t change either - its amazing how much more human I feel when I share that I’m struggling with my school aged kids with a mum friend and realise they are in exactly the same boat! We’re all in this together.
This is why all my Mum & Baby Yoga classes start with us going around the room sharing how you are doing and then ending with a chance for you to have a natter. There is something truly magic about watching you offer words or hugs to one anohter in support as you share and support one another.
I really do know how valuable connection is when you are a new mum, so each class has a specific WhatsApp group which allows you to organise coffee and cake dates after class. The classes are booked as set blocks too so everyone starts and finishes at the same time to enable a lovely community to build throughout the classes.
All of this is designed to help you connect and build your little mum tribe to build you up when you need it most.
Ease Back Into Movement.
As a prolapse sufferer myself, I know all too well the importance of safely returning to exercise and physical activity following birth. Our bodies have taken a battering growing a tiny human for 9 months followed by birthing said tiny human too. Some of us may have even had major abdominal surgery too (hands up CS mummas!). We need to look after them.
There is so much conflicting advice out there about what is and isn’t safe to do after having a baby and it can feel impossible to know where to start.
As a This Mum Moves Ambassador and YogaBellies trained certified CYT250 teacher I am perfectly placed to help you navigate all this. My Mum & Baby Yoga classes feature various postures that are easy to follow and adaptable based on your recovery so far. The classes feature progression through the blocks and I adapt the sequences week on week based on who I have in the room with me and what stages you are all at.
Relaxed Atmosphere
I work really hard to ensure each and every one of you feel as relaxed as possible during my classes, the atmosphere is very low key and we always have a giggle at some point.
We will have babies feeding, changing, crying, bouncing at some point - perhaps all at the same time in some cases. We just crack on, you do what you need to do and we have a giggle about it together.
You DO NOT need to have done yoga before - the vast majority of ladies coming are very new to it too. Being a slightly sweary mum of 2 who likes her wine - I am far from your stereotypical hippie, super bendy pretzel of a yoga instructor!

Which class?
Mum & Baby
Open to babies 6-8 weeks post vaginal delivery and 8-10 weeks post cesarean you can start as soon as you feel ready and are very welcome up until just before baby starts to crawl/move around the room. This class is lit with my usual fairy lights and candles, but also features additional props and toys for baby. Each class ends with a gorgeous sensory session for the two of you to enjoy together.
Classes Running
Thursdays, 10.40am @ The Mytchett Centre
Fridays 10am @ The Zebon Centre
Mum & Movers
Open to all mums and babies aslong as you are over 6 months postpartum. This class is a more mummy focused class, the babies play on mats in the centre of the room filled with toys whilst we do yoga around the edge, Baby does not need to be moving for this one, but the room is safe for those that are, as I roll the fairy lights away. This class still ends with the same sensory session as the Mum & Baby Class too.
Classes Running
Fridays, 11.25am @ The Zebon Centre
They really are a little slice of magic and act as a rare chance for a reset and a reboot. As one of my lovely mums put it - “I always feel centred and ready to tackle another week after her classes!”
